Congratulations on the publishing of your short story. If I had a Kindle, I would buy it! Wish I did...

Yeah, me, too. I don't even have a Kindle, myself, or else I would buy my own story. Then I'd get about 35 cents back on my own purchase.

I just found out there's a free Kindle app you can download to your PC or smart phone. I just got it on my computer and bought my own story. You don't need a Kindle after all.

This is going to sound like an excuse, but if I download anything on my laptop, it usually crashes. In fact, I probably won't even buy the e-book that my anthology is being published into because my computer can't support downloads of any kind. And since I'm not going to buy it... I'm going to add a post on my blog about your short story, and hopefully you'll get more readers and buyers that way. You know, free advertising from one writer to the next.

It becomes routine to sit back and watch the "page not responding" pop-up, but it's not so bad. I'm just glad I have a computer at all.
