Hi Everyone,
I'm glad to be here. On WD Community I was Tessa Sheppard but I have changed my username for this forum.

A little about myself:
- I am 33 years old
- I am a mother of 3 year old twins
- I am a stay-at-home mother right now
- I have a writing goal of completing my first novel by the end of 2013

I'm looking forward to our writing challenges and getting to know all of you. Smile

So curiosity killed the old cat this weekend and I went out to the old site and what do you know-It's still there! My page is there, our old Writer's Challenge is there, everything? Now I'm not simple enough to think that ending a website is like flipping the lights off in your kitchen, but it's been 3 days! In the world of Bill three days would've been enough time to disassemble a tonka truck and a small lawnmower (okay maybe the tonka truck would've taken me an extra day, lol). Just wondering if anyone has heard or seen anything that might give a clue as to what those yahoos were thinking/doing.

Howdy All!

I joined a while ago when this site was published... but wasn't active because WD was still up and running through December 16th. Glad to be here, and if you post your work in the Critique Corner, it's a guarantee that either I or Shea Ballard will reply back. I'll check daily for updates, and have posted a couple of my pieces there already.

Thanks for setting this website up for us, and I'm glad it is still running. From unfortunate previous experience, I would just suggest to the admin that if it is possible, to delete old posts after a certain amount of time. Most of these free web builders have a small storage base and they won't even warn you ahead of time that your site is full! It's a real bummer, so that's my suggestion to you on that. Smile

Anyhoo, looking forward to getting active, and I hope to see you all around!

I am so glad we have a place as well. It will take some getting used to but I'll do my best to make it as inviting and easy to navigate as possible. If anyone has any suggestions that I could implement to do just that - let me know! And Ace, I will surely start to delete older posts so we dont run into a problem. Thanks!! sunny
